Called to Renew Update

As we begin the new year, we are pleased to share an update on St. Bernardine of Siena Parish’s Called to Renew campaign. This initiative continues to strengthen our parish facilities and support our mission to foster worship, community, and faith formation for all.

Project One Completed: Enhanced Sound & Audio-Visual Systems

In 2025, with the generous support of Called to Renew donors, we completed the installation of new sound and audio-visual systems in both the church and the Parish Hall. This significant upgrade also included the installation of an active loop hearing system in the church to better serve parishioners who are hearing impaired.

Within the church, the new system enhances the proclamation of the Word and the celebration of the Eucharist, enriching the overall worship experience for our community. In the Parish Hall, the upgraded technology has benefited our entire parish family—including our preschool and elementary school—by supporting presentations, assemblies, concerts, meetings, and worship with clearer sound and improved visual capabilities.

We are deeply grateful to all who contributed to this project and helped make it a reality.

Upcoming Project: Church Interior Restoration and Renovation

Looking ahead, our next major initiative will focus on the interior restoration and renovation of our beloved church. The last interior renovation was completed in 2000, and after 25 years of faithful use, the space is in need of thoughtful restoration. Planned work includes an eight-week summer project to refurbish and refinish the church pews, clean and restore pew cushions, repair broken kneelers and chairs, and repaint the interior. These improvements will help preserve the beauty and reverence of our worship space for generations to come.

Fundraising for this project will take place over the next year and a half.
