PASTOR  -  FR MICHAEL EVANS
Born in Glendale, CA and grew up at Holy Family Parish. Youngest of three children. Attended OLQA Seminary High School. Attended St John Seminary College where he received his BA in Liberal Arts (Philosophy) with a secondary concentration in Spanish Literature. Attended St John Seminary (received MA in Pastoral Studies) and was ordained on June 13, 1992. He is the fourth pastor of St Bernardine of Siena.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR - FR BILL CROWE
Born in Cincinatti, Ohio he is the eldest of three siblings.  After he graduated from High School in 1977 he moved to California.  He received a Bachelor’s in Theology and a Master’s in Pastoral Studies from Loyola Marymount University. He attended St John's Seminary and was ordained in 2008. He was appointed here as Associate Pastor in July 2014.

DEACON
Steve Ellms was ordained a Deacon in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels on 06/07/08. He and Sharon are very involved in the RCIA program.

 

DEACON
Dale Taufer was ordained a Deacon in 1995 and is the husband of Angela. He an his wife are volunteer chaplains at West Hills Hospital, and he is also a chaplain at Motion Picture and TV Hospital. He is coordinator of the Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick, and he and Angela are involved in Justice & Peace, Bereavement, and other Parish activities.

PASTOR EMERITUS -

MSGR ROBERT J McNAMARA

Ordained in Thurles, Co Tipperary, Ireland on June 7, 1969, he was appointed to St Bernardine in July 2001.

He serrved as the third Pastor of the Parish following Msgr. Murray and Msgr. Paul Dotson.


 

PASTOR EMERITUS - FOUNDING PASTOR          MSGR RICHARD H MURRAY

A native of Alexandria, Louisiana and ordained at Saint Vibiana's Cathedral, Los Angeles in 1943, Monsignor Richard H. Murray is the founding Pastor of the Parish. He began the Parish in 1962 and retired in February 1989. He regularly presides at the first Mass on Sunday morning as well as helping in many other ways.
