The gift of the Spirit is given freely, not according to human expectations, but
according to the generosity of God. Joshua wants Moses to stop Eldad and Medad from  prophesying in the camp, when they were not with the others as the spirit was bestowed on them. Moses, so close to God’s mind in the matter, wishes everyone could possess the spirit of God and proclaim it to the nations.
Psalm 19 celebrates the perfection of God’s law, and how it brings joy and delight.

It is better than the finest gold or the sweetest honey. Moreover, God gives the wisdom of the prophets to everyone, especially the simple and lowly ones, even to children.
It is the “little ones” who proclaim the wonder of God to all.

Grades 1-6

We are happy to welcome your family to St. Bernardine's Faith  Formation Program.  Faith Formation sessions have begun.  On site classes are held on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:30pm for the first through sixth grades.  At the present time, all catechists and students will be required to wear face masks in the classrooms.

The "Blest Are We Faith in Action" religious
education program was developed according to the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. These four parts of the Catechism are identified by the words: Believe, Worship, Live, and Pray.  Sacred Scripture with activities serves as the background each week.

A monthly resource packet will be sent home for families to share the Faith with your
children.  Preparation for the First Sacraments is also part of the program.  To register, please complete the fillable form and return it to the Parish Office:

What is Alpha? Alpha is a place to explore the Christian Faith with others. It is a low pressue environment to discuss the big questions of life. Every Alpha session has three key ingrediants: Food, Talk, & Discussion. Every session, we will share a meal (Food); then explore the basics of Christian faith (Talk); and after the talk there is time share thoughts and questions in small groups (Discussion).
