Confirmation Preparation Process

The Confirmation preparation process spans two years. During their first year of preparation, candidates at St. Bernardine Parish are required to regularly participate in youth ministry events, complete service hours, and attend an overnight retreat. During their second year or Sacramental Preparation Period, candidates have Confirmation classes from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sundays approximately twice a month, are encouraged to continue to participate in youth ministry, must attend another overnight retreat, and participate in other activities and events to complete their preparation process and receive the Sacrament in the spring.
